Law Clerks
Reno & Cavanaugh typically hires a maximum of 2-3 law clerks each summer, and occasionally hires a law clerk during the school year. Law clerks work on practical transactional and research assignments, and learn generally about the housing and community development field. Reno & Cavanaugh prefers law clerks to work full time for 10-12 weeks over the summer. Law clerks may be at any stage of their legal education or career. I discovered Reno & Cavanaugh while working on housing issues in Chicago. I spent my 2L summer at the firm, where I prepared client memos and helped draft transactional documents.
